Aligning your text and pictures

 

You can align your text and pictures to be in the left, center or right. The default alignment for the text is <LEFT>, this means all your text  and pictures will automatically be aligned on the left if you do not put any alignment tags in your web page. It is a good idea to add the alignment tags even if you want everything to be on the left.  

Place the opening alignment tag where you want the alignment to begin and the closing alignment tag when you want it to end.

<LEFT>text or picture</LEFT>

<CENTER>text or picture</CENTER>

<RIGHT>text or picture</RIGHT>

 

 

Save this change:  File - Save As
Make sure the Save In: box displays the right folder
Make sure the 
Save as type: box says All Files
You may click on your file name instead of typing it, make sure you click on the one with the blue e in front of it.
Do not add  .html after your file's nam
e, 

Check the changes in Internet Explorer by going to File - Refresh or clicking the F5 key.
